Description
Bowyer House, located at the rear of numbers 34 and 36 on Clapham High Street, is an early to mid-19th century terrace. Each house in this terrace has three storeys and three windows. The exterior is finished in stucco with incised lines, featuring an entablature with a dentil cornice and a parapet, with one house having balustradings. Some of the parapets have been rebuilt. Numbers 26 and 28 include slated mansards with dormers. The second-floor windows are sash windows with glazing bars set in flat stucco surrounds, while the ground floors are concealed behind projecting shop fronts. The back elevations of the houses are also well-preserved.
