Description
This is a substantial, early 19th-century house located on Kennington Road. It originally comprised five bays and stands three stories high. The house is constructed of stock brick and features a mutuled cornice topped with an open pediment containing an oval plaque inscribed "Marlborough House." Gauged flat brick arches frame modern plate glass windows. The ground floor has been adapted for modern shops. The house was designed by architect Michael Searles.
