Description
No. 45 Kensington Square is a house, likely built in the early 18th century. It has two storeys plus dormers in a mansard roof behind a parapet and features five windows. The exterior is stuccoed and has undergone some additions and alterations. A central semi-circular porch from the early 19th century, which originally had a hood and columns, has been converted into a bow window. The entrance, located in a wing that projects at the back along Young Street, has a shell hood that is either from the 20th century or reconstructed. The windows are square-headed with flush frames for the glazing bars, and the window on the ground floor to the left has been altered, likely in the late 19th century.
