Description
No 3 Kensington Square is a house dating from the early to mid 19th century. It was formerly part of a single building that included a carriage entrance under No 2. The property has three storeys, basements, and dormers. No 2 features one window, while No 3 has three windows. The exterior is made of yellow stock brick with a rusticated stucco ground floor and decorative dressings. The building has a parapet adorned with ball finials and palmette acroteria, along with a stone dentil cornice. The windows are square-headed, recessed sash types with stucco architraves, and the first floor has cornices and segmental pediments above the central window. No 2 includes a segmental-arched carriage entrance, while No 3 has a square-headed, recessed doorway with a fanlight and a panelled door. Additionally, No 3 features cast iron railings.
