Description
No 4 Kensington Square is a house built in the early 19th century, with a top storey added in the later 19th century. The building has five storeys and a basement, featuring two windows. It is constructed of yellow stock brick and has a bracketed brick parapet with a pedimented centre. There is a stucco cornice at the fourth floor level and a plain stucco band at the first floor level. Below the pediment, there is a lunette window. The recessed sash windows, which still have their original glazing bars, are topped with gauged flat brick arches. The entrance features a square-headed recessed doorway with a stucco architrave and a panelled door. Additionally, there are cast iron railings with foliated finials surrounding the property.
