Description
No. 31 Kensington Square is an 18th-century house that has undergone alterations in the early 19th and 20th centuries. It stands four storeys tall with a basement and features a gabled dormer. The second and third floors, as well as the gable wall, are adorned with plain tile hanging. The first floor is finished in stucco, while the ground floor has rusticated stucco with a plain band at the first-floor level. The house has square-headed, recessed sash windows with architraves on the first floor. The entrance features a square-headed architraved doorway with a panelled door. There are wrought iron railings and an entrance over-throw with a lamp bracket. Inside, there are some original and later 18th-century features.
