Description

The tomb of James Poole, who died in 1843, is a slate chest tomb located in Kensal Green Cemetery. It features two panels on each side and one panel at each end, with each panel containing cusped ogive arches set between clustered shafts. This tomb represents a very unusual monumental use of slate as a material.
