Description
The Church of England Chapel, located in Brompton Cemetery, was designed by Benjamin Baud and built between 1839 and 1840. This octagonal chapel is constructed of stone and features a lead dome along with Roman Doric pilaster decoration. It has a projecting porch supported by coupled columns and is flanked by lower blocks that include niches. The chapel serves as the focal point of an intricate arrangement of stone arcading, which is intended for the display of memorial plaques.
