Description

Kensal House Day Nursery is a day nursery built between 1936 and 1938 by architects Maxwell Fry and Grey Wornum. The structure is made of reinforced concrete and is designed to be sunken, resulting in a single storey at the rear and one storey plus a mezzanine facing the playground. It features a flat roof and a plain reinforced concrete cantilevered verandah, with continuous glazing. The nursery is an integral part of the Kensal House Complex.
