Description
Nos 5 and 7 Muswell Hill, built in the early to mid-19th century, are a pair of two-storey buildings with an attic and basement in the main block, and a two-storey side wing that is set back and also has a basement. They are constructed of stock brick and feature low-pitched hipped roofs covered with slate, along with eaves soffits. The main block includes two gabled dormers, which are likely of more recent origin. The sash windows in the main block have gauged flat brick arches and glazing bars, while the side wings have tripartite sash windows without bars. The doors are fielded with two flat panels and have rectangular fanlights, all set within a stuccoed surround that features a bracketed cornice. At the centre of the first floor, there is a round stone plaque that reads "MORAVIAN CHURCH HOUSE 1957." There are modern back extensions to No 5. Nos 5 to 9 (odd) are recognized as a group.
