Description

These are early 19th century commercial premises, located at numbers 362 to 368 Kingsland Road. Each building is two storeys high with a basement, and originally featured two windows. They are constructed of stock brick with parapet fronts. Numbers 362 and 364 have slated mansard roofs with dormers. The windows have gauged flat brick arches, some with glazing bars. Number 362 has long first-floor windows set within reeded wooden architraves that incorporate a frieze and cornice, all within round arched recesses, and which open onto a long cast iron balcony. The ground floor is stuccoed and arcaded, with alterations to the windows and a door with a plain fanlight. Number 364 has a six-panel door and an altered early to mid-19th century shop front with pilasters and console brackets to a mutuled fascia cornice. Numbers 366 and 368 have altered shop fronts, with number 366 retaining its mutule cornice. Buildings 358 to 368 form a group.
