Description
No. 190 is an early 18th century house located on Shoreditch High Street. It is a well-preserved four-storey building with two windows, with the top storey being an addition. The house is constructed of red brick and features tall brick pilasters that support a moulded and dentilled brick cornice beneath the topmost floor, which has a parapet. The later sash windows, which have glazing bars in exposed box frames and brick aprons below, are adorned with finely gauged segmental brick arches. There is a moulded string at the second floor level. The ground floor has been altered to accommodate a modern shop. Nos. 186 to 191 form a group.
