Description

No. 43 High Street is an early 18th-century building constructed of painted brick. It stands three storeys tall and features three sash windows, each with moulded segmental lintels and keyblocks. Above these windows, there is a blocked central window, and the building has quoins at the second and third storeys. A moulded sill band runs along the second floor, and the building is topped with a coped parapet. The shop fronts are modern. Nos. 40 to 43, along with No. 43A, form a group.
