Description

Nos 44 and 45 on High Street are early 19th-century buildings featuring stucco applied over an earlier timber frame, which is visible inside. The structures rise three storeys and have six sash windows, along with a coped parapet. An early 19th-century glazed door and a bow window with glazing bars are present, as well as a projecting shop window in the basement, also with glazing bars. There are steps leading up to the entrance, flanked by railings. A modern addition on the left-hand side, known as the Ladies Shop, is not considered of special interest.
