Description

No. 50 High Street is an early 18th-century building constructed of painted brick. It stands three storeys high and features six sash windows, with early 19th-century windows on the third storey and modern windows on the second storey. The building has quoins, a moulded brick stringcourse, and corbelled wooden eaves. It also includes three modern or restored gabled dormers and a tiled roof. On the right-hand side, there is an elliptical arch with an engraved lintel, while the left side has a modern shop front. No. 50, along with No. 51, the Swan Inn, and Nos. 53 to 57, form a group.
