Description

No. 196 on Shoreditch High Street is an early 18th century building that stands four storeys tall and features five windows. The exterior is made of painted brick and includes a band at the second floor and a parapet. The windows, which have been replaced, are set within flush box frames and are topped with segmental brick arches. The ground floor showcases a reproduction Georgian shop front, which includes one canted window and one bowed window, along with a mutuled cornice that is supported at either end by elaborately carved angel brackets.
