Description
The Crown Public House is an early 19th-century building, likely based on an 18th-century structure. It features a stucco facade with quoins and a heavy dentil eaves cornice, complete with a frieze and blocking course above. The building stands three storeys tall and has five windows, all of which are sash windows with glazing bars. The second-floor windows are set within architrave surrounds and have moulded sills supported by brackets. The first-floor windows also have architrave surrounds and are flanked by pilasters, with a mix of triangular and semi-circular pediments on carved brackets. The ground floor, situated below the dentil cornice, has pilasters between the windows that are covered with glazed tiles. The roof is not visible.
