Description

No. 26 High Street is an early 19th-century building constructed of red brick. It stands three storeys tall and features four sash windows, each adorned with fluted stone keyblocks and slightly cambered brick arches. A stone band runs along the second floor, and the building is topped with bold wooden modillion eaves. It has end gables and chimney stacks, and the roof is covered with slates. The shop fronts have been modernized. This property, along with Nos. 26 to 32, forms a cohesive group.
