Description
This is a long, shallow, crescent-shaped terrace dating from the early 19th century and originally built on a grand scale. Numbers 318 to 346 (even) comprise the surviving section. The houses are each three storeys high with an attic and basement, and feature three windows each. They are constructed of stock brick with a stone-coped parapet, and have a slated mansard roof with dormers. The windows on the first and second floors have arched brickwork, and the ground floor windows and doors have rounded brick arches. The dormers have been altered, and the sash windows are mostly altered, with many now being modern casements. The doors are also mostly modern. The scale and position of the terrace make it worthy of restoration. Numbers 318 to 346 (even) form a group, noted for their group value.
