Description

No. 56 on Hoxton Square is an early to mid-18th century building that may have older origins. It stands three storeys tall and has two windows. The exterior is made of stock brick, featuring a moulded brick cornice and a plastered parapet. The windows are recessed sash windows with gauged flat brick arches, and the first-floor windows still have their bars. On the ground floor, there is a contemporary slightly bowed shop front with a door on the left side. Narrow pilasters support a fascia that has a mutulated cornice.
