Description
This is a row of three early to mid-19th century linked pairs of houses, numbered 131 to 141 Richmond Road in London. Each house is three storeys high with a basement and has two windows. The exterior is stock brick with a stucco frieze cornice and blocking course, a first-floor sill band, and banded brickwork to the basement. The sash windows have moulded architraves, and most of the original window bars have been lost. There are six steps leading to four-panel doors, which have side lights and rectangular fanlights, all set back within a one-storey paired entrance link featuring pilasters and an entablature with a dentil cornice. Projecting cills are visible to the ground-floor windows, some of which have ornamental cast iron guards.
