Description

  1. MARE STREET E8 5013 (East Side) -------------- No 226 TQ 3484 25/365 II GV

  2. Early C19 with alterations. 3 storeys and basement, now covered over, 3 windows. Stock brick with stone cornice band, 1st floor cill band and stone coped parapet. 1st and 2nd floor window arches rebuilt in flettons and windows are late C19 sashes. Original flat gauged brick arch on ground floor. Door of 5 panels with panelled pilasters, side lights and fluted head. Parapet and cornice above door section, the whole included in a wide recess under round gauged brick arch. Wrought iron handrail to flight of 5 steps. Group value.
