Description

The bridge or viaduct over Farringdon Street was built between 1863 and 1869, likely designed by William Heywood. It features three spans made of cast iron, supported by granite piers. The structure is highly decorative, with pairs of statues and winged lions, three lamp standards, and the City arms displayed on each balustrade.
