Description

A terrace of fourteen houses on Goldington Street, dating from 1849 to 1853, and restored in the late 20th century as part of a Camden local building rehabilitation scheme. The houses are built of multi-coloured stock brick with rusticated stucco ground floors. They are three storeys high, with basements. Each house has two windows. The doorways are round-arched, with fanlights above panelled doors. Ground floor windows are sashes with margin lights. Above, the windows of Nos. 26 to 34 are architraved sashes with margin lights, with console-bracketed cornices and continuous cast-iron balconies to the first floors. The windows of Nos. 35 to 38 have gauged brick flat arches, also with first-floor windows featuring continuous cast-iron balconies. The terrace is topped with parapets. No. 38 incorporates the former No. 37. The interiors were not inspected.
