Description
This is an unidentified chest tomb located in St Pancras Old Church Gardens, dating from around 1820. It is made of stone and features a Sonian design. The tomb has a rectangular stepped plinth that supports a central square chest, which is flanked by rectangular blocks. The structure is topped with a corniced cover that includes an urn and corner acroteria. The panels of the tomb have shallow incised rectangles and a Greek scroll patterning, although the inscription is not legible.
