Description
St Pancras Old Church Garden features two sets of gates and railings dating from the 19th century, set on a low sleeper wall. The gates are made of wrought iron and display an intricate design with foliated scrollwork. The gates leading to the garden are topped with a roundel depicting St Pancras holding a martyr's palm, while the left flanking panel includes a cartouche with the entwined letters "SP." The gates to the forecourt of St Pancras Old Church also have a roundel, but the figure is missing, and the letters "SP" are incorporated into the band below. The railings, which share an elaborate design similar to the gates, rest on a stone-capped brick wall.
