Description
No. 81 Parkway is a terraced house and former shop, now used as an office, dating from the early 19th century. The building is constructed of painted brick and stands three storeys tall with cellars. It features two windows on the upper floors. The wooden shopfront includes reeded pilasters that support an enriched entablature, which has an inswept frieze and a projecting cornice. The shop window is canted, showcasing thin colonnettes, large panes, and arched lights on the splay. The doorway is adorned with a fanlight and a panelled door. The upper floor windows are topped with gauged brick flat arches, and the glazing has been replaced in the 20th century. A parapet crowns the building. The interior has not been inspected.
