Description

39 Monmouth Street is a terraced house with a later shop, built in the early 18th century and altered in the mid-19th century. The building is constructed of yellow stock brick and features a wide stucco band at the first floor level, topped by a slate mansard roof with dormers. It has three storeys, an attic, and a basement. The shop front is mostly from the 20th century, but includes mid-19th century consoles. There are gauged red brick segmental arches above the recessed sash windows, and the building has a parapet. The interior has not been inspected.
