Description

Numbers 68 and 69 are terraced houses located at the end of the terrace of Nos. 22-46 Albert Street, built around 1845. The buildings are constructed of yellow stock brick with a rusticated stucco ground floor. They rise three storeys and include a basement. The facade facing Albert Street features two windows, while the Mornington Street side has one window.

The entrance to No. 68 is marked by a square-headed doorway with a 20th-century door, which is accessed by steps that have cast-iron railings. To the left, No. 69 has an entrance in a rendered portico that includes a panelled door, a cornice head supported by console brackets, and a fanlight above. Above the portico, there is a rectangular brick structure that is a single storey with one window.

The Mornington Street facade has recessed sash windows, with the ground floor featuring margin glazing. The upper floors have architraved sashes, and the first floor includes cast-iron balconies. The building is topped with a stucco parapet that has a moulded cornice.

The properties also have attached cast-iron railings leading to the areas in front of them. The interior has not been inspected.
