Description
A pair of terraced houses dating from the mid-to-late 19th century, located on Mornington Terrace. The houses are built of yellow stock brick with stucco quoins and dressings. They are three storeys high and have basements. Each house has one window, plus a recessed entrance bay. Projecting stucco porticoes provide access; the doorways have fanlights and panelled doors. The ground and first floors feature tripartite sash windows with lugged stucco surrounds. The second floor has round-arched sash windows with similar surrounds, set below small gables in a hipped, slated roof with projecting bracketed eaves. A large, centrally positioned chimney stack is a prominent feature. The interiors were not inspected. These houses represent group value with nearby buildings.
