Description
Greenwood Almshouses Numbers 1-6 is a terrace of six almshouses located on Rousden Street, built in the early 19th century and altered in the late 20th century. The building is designed in a Gothick style and is finished in stucco. It stands three storeys tall and features eight windows and four doorways, each with chamfered reveals. The doorways are topped with overlights that have pointed lights, and the doors are panelled. The square-headed sash windows also have chamfered reveals and pointed lights. The ground floor has linked dripmoulds above the doorways, while the first floor features a sill string and dripmoulds, and the second floor has dripmoulds as well. The building is topped with a parapet. The interiors have not been inspected.
