Description

Numbers 157 and 159 are two early 19th-century terraced houses located on the west side of St Pancras Way, Camden. The houses are stucco-faced, with rusticated detailing to the ground floor. They are three storeys high with basements, each house featuring two windows. The ground floor has round-arched openings with keystones; the opening to Number 159 is currently boarded and bricked up. Number 157 has a doorway with fluted quarter columns, a fanlight, and a panelled door. The windows have cast-iron guards. First-floor casements are round-arched with architraves, linked by impost bands, and feature cast-iron balconies. The second-floor windows are square-headed sash windows with architraves. A cornice and parapet top the facade. The interiors were not inspected. Attached cast-iron railings with acorn finials are present to the areas.
