Description

This is a terrace of seven houses located in Delancey Street, Camden. The terrace was built in the mid-19th century and has undergone alterations since. The houses are constructed of yellow stock brick, with some later brick refacing, and have rusticated stucco on the ground floors. They have slate mansard roofs with dormers, except for number 29, which has a 20th-century fourth storey in place of an attic. Each house typically has two windows, although number 41 has a three-window return.

The doorways have square heads with pilaster-jambs supporting cornice-heads, above fanlights and panelled doors. The recessed sash windows are set within gauged brick flat arches, with Nos. 39 and 41 having additional architraves. Cast-iron balconies are located at the first-floor window level. A stucco cornice and blocking course is visible on houses 31 to 37, while houses 39 and 41 have stucco parapets. The interiors have not been inspected.

Attached to the front of the terrace are cast-iron railings with spike finials that define the areas.
