Description
Numbers 36 and 38 are two terraced houses built in the early 19th century, featuring late 19th-century projecting porches. They are constructed from yellow stock brick, with a stucco band at the first floor level and grey brick porches. The houses have slated mansard roofs with dormers and consist of three storeys, attics, and semi-basements. The round-arched doorways are adorned with keystones, and the panelled doors have radial patterned fanlights. Recessed sash windows are topped with gauged brick flat arches, and there are parapets above. Notably, No. 38 retains its original lead rainwater head. The interiors have not been inspected. The properties are complemented by attached cast-iron railings with bud finials, set on low brick walls that have stone-capped gate piers and cast-iron gates.
