Description

Manaton Lodge is an early 19th-century semi-detached house located on Well Walk in Camden. The house is constructed of yellow stock brick and is three storeys high. It features two windows, with a slightly recessed two-window entrance bay on the east side, and a two-storey one-window extension. The doorway has stucco pilasters supporting an entablature, above a panelled door with an overlight. Recessed sash windows are set within gauged brick flat arches. The building is topped with a parapet. The interior has not been inspected. The house was converted from a gardener’s cottage originally situated within the grounds of Foley House on East Heath Road, and was named after the owner’s village in Devon.
