GV II Monument to Dorothy Hastings, d.1935. Cast concrete headstone with relief of woman with bobbed haircut and crossed arms amid wheat, flowers and bird; inscribed at foot IN LOVING MEMORY OF DOROTHY HASTINGS. Footstone to Donald Pierre Hastings, d.1938, 'sculptor of this headstone'. A very rare example of an Art Deco memorial in an unusual material.
