Description

This is a row of four terraced houses with later shops, built around 1791 and subsequently altered. The houses are constructed of multi-coloured stock brick, with some areas patched and refaced. They have slated mansard roofs with dormers. The properties extend over three storeys, with attics and basements. The 20th century saw the introduction of shopfronts at street level. The upper floors feature recessed sash windows with gauged brick flat arches, the first floor windows set within shallow, round-arched recesses linked by stucco impost bands. Parapets are present on Nos. 63-67, complemented by brick cornices below. The interiors have not been inspected, but are considered likely to be of interest.
