Description
Two observatories located in the University College Quadrangle were built around 1804 to 1806. They are constructed from vermiculated stone and feature domed lead roofs, with ashlar dressings. The observatories have an octagonal plan, barred windows, and wooden two-panel doors, along with projecting moulded stone cornices. The interiors have not been inspected. The buildings surrounding the quadrangle of University College are part of a cohesive group.
