Description

Chalk Farmhouse is a former farmhouse that was once divided into two cottages, dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century. The building is 1½ storeys high and features a timber-framed and plastered structure with gable-end chimney stacks and a thatched roof. It has small paned 2-light casement windows, and there is an eyebrow dormer above the central plank door. At the north end, there is a single-storey extension made of random flint and red brick, which includes a dentil cornice, a pantiled roof with an air vent, 2-light casements, and a plank door.
