Description

No. 1 Broom Hill Lane is a pair of cottages that have been combined into one dwelling. They date from the 18th century and were modernised around 1970. The building is 1½ storeys tall, constructed from timber framing and rendered, with a pantiled roof and a central chimney stack. The windows are small-paned casements from the mid-20th century, and there are two gabled dormers. Attached to the cottage is a single-storey outbuilding from the mid-19th century, made of brick and flint with glazed pantiles, which is now connected to the cottage by a modern extension. The property has landscape value.
