Ghent Cottage, Merrow Cottage, No. 2, and The Cottage are a row of five cottages located in Timberscombe. They date from the 17th and 18th centuries and are 1½ storeys high. The cottages are timber-framed and plastered, featuring thatched roofs and internal chimneys. 'The Cottage' has a partially pantiled roof. The buildings have various small-paned casements and different styles of doors.
