Description

This is a churchyard monument, specifically a headstone, dating from the 18th century and made of Ketton stone. It features a distinctive design with two winged angel heads on either side of a central bell shape. On each side of the now obliterated inscription panel, there is a full-length skeleton with cross-bones and an hourglass on its head. This monument is noted for its interesting design and historical significance, as recorded in the Survey of Monuments in the Great Churchyard around 1960 by West Suffolk County Council.
