Description

Lodge Cottage is an early 19th-century gatelodge that stands at one storey. It is constructed from flint rubble with red brick quoins. The building features a hipped thatched roof and has an axial chimney made of red brick, which displays a saw-tooth pattern on its shaft. An open entrance porch, which is recessed under the main roof, is supported by unsawn forked branches in the Cottage Ornee style. The windows are small pane casements, and the entrance door is boarded and battened.
