Description

Hardwick Haven is a house from the mid-19th century, constructed from flint with red brick dressings and a slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has a Y-shaped plan. Each wing features one window on its gable end for each storey, along with one or two windows at the internal angles. All windows are cast-iron casements with iron latticed glazing set in moulded red brick reveals. There is a half-glazed 20th-century door on one side. The central chimney stack has three detached shafts with moulded bases, resting on a Y-shaped base that displays lattice decoration in the brickwork. The interior has not been inspected.
