Description
19 and 21 Out Westgate are a pair of mid-19th century houses located in Bury St Edmunds. They are constructed of white brick and feature a slate roof with a wide, plain eaves soffit. The buildings are two storeys high and have a cellar.
The front facade has four windows: No. 19 has one window blocked on the first storey and one 12-pane sash window, along with a wider 20-pane sash window on the ground storey. No. 21 also has one window blocked on the first storey, with the other being a sash window that has a single vertical glazing bar, and a wider 16-pane sash window on the ground storey. All windows are topped with flat gauged arches and have plain reveals. A raised brick band runs between the two storeys.
There are two doorways, each with semicircular fanlights set in plain arched brick surrounds, and a foot scraper is located beside each door. The interior has not been inspected.
