Description
The Old Rectory, a former rectory, dates from the early 19th century and features mid-19th century alterations. It is a two-storey building with attics, constructed of red brick with some areas rendered, and has slated roofs with gault brick chimneys. The house includes casement dormers, a central block flanked by two short cross-wings, and a central front extension with a hipped roof from the mid-19th century. There are various early and mid-19th century sash windows, along with some small pane casements. The entrance porch and adjacent stairway, both from the early 19th century, have a flat roof and a moulded parapet cornice. Additionally, there is a red brick 18th-century garden wall along the north boundary of the garden, which is connected to the front of the house by a 19th-century flint wall.
