Description

Number 5 Church Cottages is a cottage from the mid 19th century. It was built at the same time as the alterations to numbers 1 to 4 Church Cottages, sharing a similar character with them. The cottage has two storeys, with rendered walls and a fish-scale tiled roof. It features axial brick chimneys that have a central stone arched niche between two square flues. The windows are three-light wrought iron casements with small oblong panes, and the first-floor windows have prominent semi-circular lead-covered dormer heads. Additionally, a single-storey section connects it to numbers 1 to 4, making it an important part of the overall structure.
