Description

This is a barn located 60 yards west of Old Lodge, dating from the mid 17th century. It has four bays and one aisle on the north side. The structure is timber-framed and weather-boarded, topped with a thatched hipped roof featuring clasped purlins, along with ridge and queen struts. The aisle is braced from the aisle tiebeam up to the heads of the arcade posts, and there is primary straight bracing in the external walls.
