Description

26 Abbeygate Street is a former house and shop, now a shop with the upper storeys incorporated into No. 25. It dates from the early 19th century and features a timber frame with roughcast rendering and a slate roof. The building has three storeys, with two windows on each of the upper levels. One of these is a three-light sash window without glazing bars, while the others are sashes with glazing bars. The shop front is adorned with ornate console brackets and a late 20th-century fascia.
