Description

Nutshell Cottage is an 18th-century cottage that was extended in the mid-19th century. It has two storeys and features two windows. The building is constructed of red brick, which is partly colour-washed, and has a plaintiled roof with gable and axial chimneys made of red brick. The cottage is adorned with carved bargeboards that have a spike finial. The windows have segmental heads and are fitted with casements. The entrance door is a four-panelled design.
